Vancouver
Your Tour Director reveals to you the city’s most beautiful attractions on a leisurely morning tour, including Stanley Park, Granville Island and English Bay. During a free afternoon and evening, you may like to wander through the old cobblestone streets of Gastown, the birthplace of Vancouver. Others may prefer to visit the shopping mecca of Robson Street.

Vancouver, Rocky Mountaineer, Kamloops
Relax in GoldLeaf Service aboard the Rocky Mountaineer, one of the only passenger trains that covers the historic route of the rugged wilderness of the Canadian Rockies. Traverse the lush fields of the Fraser River Valley and gaze out at the peaks of the Coast Mountains. Pass Hell’s Gate in the Fraser Canyon and glide past rocky slopes as your train follows the Thompson River to Kamloops where you will stay for the night.

Kamloops, Rocky Mountaineer, Banff
Kamloops, Rocky Mountaineer, Banff Settle in as your Rocky Mountaineer journey continues east towards the Canadian Rockies. Pass Shuswap Lake and follow along the South Thompson River. Travel through the Spiral Tunnels, weaving through winding roads and horseshoe curves before traversing Kicking Horse Pass. Arrive at Banff National Park, Canada’s oldest national park established in 1885, where you’ll disembark and head for your hotel.

Banff, Lake Louise
Before touring the town of Banff, board the Banff Gondola to the top of Sulphur Mountain. Onwards, stop at Moraine Lake before arriving at Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise.

Lake Louise, Athabasca Glacier, Jasper
Join Highway 93, the Icefields Parkway, and travel along one of the world’s most scenic stretches. After pausing to admire Peyto Lake, board an Ice Explorer and ride onto the surface of the Athabasca Glacier. Later, stroll along the Glacier Skywalk for panoramic views. You’ll then travel via Athabasca Falls on your way to Jasper.

The landscapes of Jasper National Park are more beautiful than you can imagine. So too is your vantage point - a timber lodge on shores of pine-ringed Lac Beauvert. Jasper, Vernon
Depart Jasper and arrive today at Sparkling Hill Resort. Owned by the former head of the Swarovski crystal company and bejeweled with 3.5 million crystals, this European-style retreat is one of British Columbia’s finest.

Travel via Shannon Falls to Horseshoe Bay. Here, ride a ferry to Vancouver Island and the small city of Nanaimo. Then travel via Chemainus to Victoria. Perhaps take a one-hour floatplane flight from Whistler to Victoria (own expense).

Misty Fjords National Monument
Cruise into Walker Cove, one of the great bays of Misty Fjords National Monument. Part of the Tongass National Forest, take in granite domes, forested hills and cascading waterfalls. Glimpse at the great Alaskan brown bear that frequents this area.

Petersburg, Le Conte Glacier
Today cruise the Wrangell Narrows and arrive at Petersburg, a fishing harbour. Here you will choose your sightseeing activity. Later, cruise to Le Conte Glacier. Weather and ice conditions permitting, set off by Zodiac to view the tidewater glacier up close.

Day 30
Tracy Arm, Endicott Arm
Today, discover the beauty of Tracy Arm Fjord as you cruise to the foot of the twin Sawyer Glaciers. Set out in Zodiacs and look out for calving glaciers, huge masses of ice breaking away into the water.

Day 31
The Brothers, Admiralty Island
Arrive at The Brothers, an archipelago off the coast of Admiralty Island. Keep on the lookout for whales, Steller sea lions and eagles. After lunch, sail to the brown bear haven of Admiralty Island.

Day 32
Tebenkof Bay, Baranof Island
At Kuiu Island, take off on Zodiacs to explore the fjords of Tebenkof Bay, home to a variety of marine mammals. During lunch, cruise the Chatham Straits to Baranof Island.

Day 33
Point Adolphus, Elfin Cove
On arrival at Point Adolphus, keep on the lookout for the mighty and majestic humpback whales that spend the summer feeding here. After a unique Signature Experience, travel to shore by Zodiac and enjoy time at leisure.

Day 34
Hubbard Glacier.
Today cruise alongside the St Elias Range. The tallest coastal mountain range in the world, the peaks are capped with snow all year round. Enter Yakutat Bay to view Hubbard Glacier, North America’s longest tidewater glacier. This evening, if weather permits, we will enter Icy Bay to see the Malaspina and Guyot Glaciers.
Day 35
Kayak Island
This morning, arrive at Kayak Island. Here, visit the cave and plaque that commemorates Captain Vitus Bering, who landed on the island’s shores in 1741. Back on board, enjoy the remainder of the afternoon at leisure as your ship journeys north.

Prince William Sound
Glide past the breathtaking icebergs and coves of Prince William Sound, with the intention of exploring Barry Arm and College Fjord. Later, enjoy your final night aboard with your fellow passengers.

Seward, Depart Anchorage
Your journey comes to an end today. After breakfast, you will disembark your ship in Seward and transfer to Anchorage for your onward flight.
