Montreal, Halifax
Fly from Montreal to Halifax (flight not included) where your Small Group Discovery begins. Be welcomed by a kilted APT representative before dinner, during which you’ll learn what lies ahead on your journey through Canada’s stunning Maritime Provinces - Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island.

Day 11
As part of a city tour, experience the firing of the noon gun at the Citadel National Historic Site and learn about the local connection to the Titanic disaster. Later, choose your activity.

Halifax, Bay of Fundy, Shediac
Travel towards the west coast of Nova Scotia to the Bay of Fundy. Discover the world’s highest tides and wander along the beach below World Heritage-listed Joggins Fossil Cliffs.

Day 13
Shediac, Cavendish, Prince Edward Island National Park, Charlottetown
Select one of two Freedom of Choice activities today. Later, cross Confederation Bridge to Cavendish and explore the setting of Anne of Green Gables, including the original homestead. Continue through Prince Edward Island National Park on your way to Charlottetown.

Charlottetown, Baddeck
Explore Charlottetown on a guided tour then cross Northumberland Strait by ferry and drive to Cape Breton.

Baddeck, Cheticamp, Cabot Trail
Spend the day immersed in the landscapes of Cape Breton. Pay a visit to the Alexander Graham Bell National Historic Site and stop at the busy fishing village of Cheticamp. Later, join the scenic Cabot Trail through Cape Breton Highlands National Park.

Baddeck, Sydney, Depart Halifax
The morning reveals the city of Sydney, where you’ll hear a tune from the world’s largest fiddle. Travel back to mainland Nova Scotia and onto Halifax where your tour ends.
