Depart London
Your journey begins as you make your way to London Heathrow for your flight to Perth.
Day 2
Arrive Perth
Upon arrival into Perth Airport this afternoon, you will be met and transferred to your hotel in Perth. After your flight from the UK, you will appreciate time to settle in to your room. A free evening also gives you the opportunity to explore the local dining scene at your leisure.

Day 3
This morning, you will tour this sun-blessed capital of Western Australia. During a fascinating guided sightseeing tour, discover some of the city’s many and varied highlights, including the untouched bushland, Botanic Gardens and lovely walkways of the beautiful Kings Park, which overlook the city. Afterwards, travel to Fremantle, located at the mouth of the Swan River. This lively city is famous for its wonderfully idyllic beaches, as well as its well-preserved colonial architecture. Later, cruise along the Swan River, then enjoy a delicious Welcome Dinner later this evening, which provides an excellent opportunity to meet your Tour Director and get to know your fellow travellers.

Day 4
Enjoy the day at leisure to further explore this beautiful city independently. Perhaps discover the vibrant atmosphere of the Elizabeth Quay precinct; see the cheeky animals at the Perth Zoo; embark on a visit to the Perth Mint; or check out the latest exhibition featured at the Art Gallery of Western Australia. Alternatively, you may wish to join one of the two exciting select experiences available. On the first, take a cruise to the historic Swan Valley wine region and enjoy a tasting of some premium local wines. Or perhaps spend the day on beautiful Rottnest Island – Western Australia’s premier island destination (both at own expense).

Perth, Alice Springs
Leaving Perth following breakfast this morning, transfer back to the airport for your flight to the red heart of Australia, Alice Springs in the Northern Territory. Nestled between the MacDonnell Ranges, this iconic Outback town is the geographical centre of Australia made famous by its rich pioneering history and enchanting ancient Indigenous culture. A major hub in Australia’s red centre, Alice Springs also acts as the main access point for Uluru.

Alice Springs
Early this morning, you may like to take an awe-inspiring balloon flight over the desert at sunrise (own expense), before joining the rest of the group to enjoy panoramic views of the town and surrounding MacDonnell Ranges from the top of Anzac Hill. After some time at leisure, enjoy your Insider Experience this afternoon. At sunset, you may like to take a memorable camel ride (own expense).

Alice Springs, Kata Tjuta, Uluru
The Australian Outback comes to life today as you travel through rugged landscapes to Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park. Visit the rock domes and peaks of Kata Tjuta (The Olgas) and walk to Walpa Gorge. Tonight, you can join a unique select experience – the Sounds of Silence Dinner – where you will dine on Australian fare whilst seated under the desert stars (own expense).

Uluru, Cairns
Discover Uluru at sunrise, then you will enjoy a dramatic change of scenery as you fly from the heart of Australia’s Red Centre to the sparkling blue waters and lush green rainforests of Cairns in Tropical North Queensland. After time to settle in to your hotel, the evening is yours at leisure.

Cairns, Port Douglas
Farewell Cairns this morning and take a short drive north to Port Douglas. This patch of paradise is the meeting point of the World Heritage-listed Daintree Rainforest and the Great Barrier Reef, and a popular holiday destination. Enjoy the day to play on the Great Barrier Reef.

Enjoy a day at leisure. You have the option to perhaps explore Cape Tribulation in the Daintree National Park, home to the world’s oldest living rainforest, or ride the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway in Kuranda (both at own expense).

Port Douglas, Cairns, Melbourne
Return to Cairns and fly to Melbourne, with its cutting-edge designs, heritage architecture and village-like suburbs.
