Day 2
Krk, Rab
We will sail over breakfast and stop at the island of Krk for a swim in the late morning. After lunch on board, we arrive this afternoon at the island of Rab. This evening we will enjoy some time to meander through the narrow old alleys of the picturesque Old Town, a perfectly preserved late Medieval Adriatic settlement squeezed into a slender peninsula along which are dotted a sequence of Romanesque campaniles. This evening is free to dine ashore.

Meals: breakfastlunch

Day 3
Pag, Zadar
Sail from Rab over breakfast and if weather allows we will drop the anchor and stop for a swim from the ship as we pass the island of Pag. This afternoon we arrive in Zadar. Once a dominant city on the Adriatic Coast rivalling Venice, Zadar is today a treasured city which has preserved its historical core. Enjoy an afternoon walking tour strolling around the Old Town with its Roman columns and portals, Romanesque churches and Renaissance and Baroque palaces. Of particular interest are the 9th century circular Church of St Donat, and the 13th century Romanesque cathedral. This evening we have dinner onboard in Zadar as we moor overnight.

Meals: breakfastlunchdinner

Day 4
Krka National Park
Spend the morning cruising to Sibenik arriving at lunchtime. Šibenik is known as the gateway to the magical Krka National Park and today you will spend the afternoon at the dramatic waterfalls this area is famous for. Wander along wooden boardwalks and bridges at Skradinski Buk, an azure natural pool with high waterfalls at one end and serene cascades at the other. Return to the ship for dinner on board as we moor overnight.

Meals: breakfastlunchdinner

Day 5
Sibenik, Split
After breakfast, enjoy a walk through the historic town of Sibenik seeing the Cathedral of St. James, the old city walls, St Nicholas Fortress and the theatre. Over lunch, sail to Split arriving in the late afternoon. Let your guide take you on a walking tour through the city, stopping to delve into the rich history of the Diocletian’s Palace. Built by the Roman Emperor Diocletian for his retirement in 305AD, the Old Town of Split is contained within its walls, making it the only Roman palace in existence that has been continuously inhabited since Roman times. It is a wonderful spot to wander the maze of streets. We will moor centrally this evening and you can enjoy dinner in one of the many restaurants on the Riva Promenade.

Meals: breakfastlunch

Day 6
Vis, Korcula
One of the furthest of the main Croatian Islands from the coast Vis has had a remarkable recent history. Used as a base for the Allies and a retreat for Tito during the second world war, Vis was also used as a military base for the Yugoslav army and only opened up to tourism in 1989. This isolation and lack of development is the island’s main draw and we will see its natural beauty as we drive across the island. Return to the ship for lunch as we sail to Korcula, the birthplace of the famed explorer Marco Polo. Perhaps spend your time exploring the city’s maze of cobblestone medieval streets and elegant squares flanked by palaces of the old nobility. This Old Town may not be as well-known as Dubrovnik, but it is every bit as rewarding for those lucky enough to visit. Take dinner ashore as we moor overnight.

Meals: breakfastlunch

Day 7
Badija, Dubrovnik
We cruise this morning to the island of Badija where we will take a swim in the warm azure waters of the Adriatic Sea before continuing to Dubrovnik where we arrive over lunch. A guided tour of Dubrovnik’s World Heritage-listed fortress begins at the impressive Pile Gate, which has stood guard at the entry of this unique walled city for centuries. Within the ancient fortifications, wander through narrow limestone alleys and marble paved boulevards to see the grand Gothic-Renaissance Rector’s Palace, the Dominican and Franciscan Monasteries, and the inspiring Sponza Palace. Return to the ship for our Farewell Dinner on board this evening.
